Beer- 2 x hand pulls on. Caledonian 80 Schilling is our beer of choice. It was an expensive round, 2 packet of crisps and two beers for £7.70 but a very tasty beer indeed.

Decor- Very charming. Lovely light fittings and the original bar fittings have remained. however, the walls are painted a nice turquoise and the lights, bunting, new artwork relating to cow and modern fire place give it a bohemian feel. There is an upstairs dining room as well, but we didn't go up there.

Music- Awful radio 1 style pumping dance music. What's up with that? They could have got a really high score if not for this!! That horrible tune ' Get ready for the weekend' is on even though its Tuesday night. Poor.

Staff- no one behind the bar when we came in. Was just about to help ourselves when somebody came down from upstairs. He was a very nice guy though and let us both taste the beer first.

Clientele- Once again, as is too common, only us in the pub! But a few more came in later. Mainly interesting looking couples and not the suits I was expecting to see, which was great.
