I had just been to an interview which seemed to go really well so Alex treated me to a tasty meal at a place of my choice, and on a tip from Kus we went here.

Very tasty! I had the Beef & Horseradish sausages which came with onion rings, mash and gravy, Alex had the Beef & Vintage ale pie. Both were really great, Alex's pie was massive and my onion rings were the best I have ever had! Although I would have liked more horseradish in the sausage but they were very tasty either way. On the whole it was a very good celebratory meal!

Decor- Lovely old traditional pub, cushioned wooden seating, nice lights, big clocks. It was quite empty but lots of room and feels very cosy

Drink - Huge bar full of lots of ales, lagers, ciders - all quality

Service - fast and friendly
