Beer- Jen had a Irish coffe which was very boozy and creamy. Well good on a snowy day. Liam had a Wainwright golden ale. Also nice. There were 2 other ales on tap and ciders. OK price.
Music- None, feels a bit strange and awkward. Quiet chatter and certainly no chance of fun.
Decor- Big rooms. Mega traditional. Dark wood, huge open fire. Lots of stuffed things on the wall. Seems kind of dark and ancient. Lots of tapestries on the wall. Half expected Henry 8th to come in.
Staff- The bar man was just stood behind the bar moaning at his co-worker and not serving anybody even though he looked at us. Terrible. The girl who eventually served us was polite-ish.
Clientele- the big room we are sat in is half full with a combination of walkers and locals who are snowed in. Not crazy types. Not amazing types.
