Beer- Yorkshire terrier brewed in York- light, pale and very slightly bitter.
York brewery Centurion's Ghost Ale Liam said ' this tastes like the real shit'. coffee, caramel, very filling. liam liked the glasses. 8.5/10
Music- None but a good atmosphere. Chilling and good chats going on in the small taproom 6/10
Decor- Old tongue and groove panneling. Lots of old pictures of York and artwork. 2 rooms and a beer garden seperated by the bar. there is a big barrel as a table in our room. Liam likes the small treasure chest behind us. Est 1503 and supposed to be haunted. A very nice pub 8/10
Staff- friendly bloke. didnt make much conversation but informed us of the different rooms in the pub 7/10
Clientele- nice people, chatting and relexing. Better than the Three tuns. One kooky person sat opposite us, he was drinking lime cordial and didn't speak, just kind of stared a bit and then went off. Strange. Maybe he was a ghost. 4/10
Really nice beer and a really nice pub. Defs recommended. Liam says..... are small pubs better than big ones?
