Beer-Rotating 2 x ales on tap at all time and guests. Liam had a Landlord that was so nice it made his head ' go funny'. It looked like a good pint and glad that Southerners have gotten used to putting proper heads on their pints. Cheap as well. Hurrah!
Decor- 2 rooms, we are in the upstairs dining room which has a great view of Charring Cross Road and people wondering about. Old school decor including big lavish curtains. Old light fittings as well and gas style bulbs in them that add to the charm. A nice place. Just a note- the girls toilet didn't flush and someone had left something that put me off my food in it.
Music- Crooney style stuff like Frank Sinatra. Perfect choice for the time of day (lunch) and the clientele (families and tourists).
Staff- Table serice laid on by only one very busy and polite lad. He had about 7 tables to wait on and did a really good job. Our service was quick even though they were busy. He didn't flap at all. Good effort!
Clientele- Quiet tourists on the whole. Quite old, no chance of any fun. I didn't see the people sat behind me, but heard their American complaints because they thought the service was 'too slow' which narked me off a bit!
