Wowsa, a great subterranean music bar.
This place is all about music, with gig posters of bands who have played in the area on the walls, and a huge screen showing music videos. Also, it's a request bar, so you can write down what you want to hear and then the DJ will play it. Wicked! We managed to get them to play Arcade Fire and Manic Street Preachers amongst other things.
The menu's pretty reasonably priced, and has beers, cocktails, jaeger and so forth. It wasn't too stupidly expensive considering it's a cool place.
Motto is just one room, with a bar to one side. It has cool woven red seats and more pictures of the clientele having fun.
It was quite busy but we all could get a seat, which is perfect for pre-dancing drinks on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was good, everyone was having a good time, enjoying their drinks and the music. We even got to do a bit of a sing-a-long.
