Me and my lady friend, Jenwa have reviewed this in the past and it didn't do too well (I think we had a bit of an arsey barman serving us as I recall) but Arcadia has recently had an extension added on so I thought i'd give it a fresh review.
Beer - On this occasion it was a Thursday night and I was with DC, Chazbang, Flint and Glasto Dave. Dave was drinking non-alcoholic lagers, DC was drinking pints of fancy European lager that I forget the name of but he informed me was very tasty. Chazbang, Flint and myself drank various ales from Arcadia's large selection. We tried Timothy Taylor's Landlord (if they serve it you have it), Copper Dragon's Golden Pippin, A Salamander and something else. They were all lovely. It was all reasonably priced too. They also have a large selection of wines. Good stuff.
Music - There wasn't any music on but it was absolutely rammed so the sound of general chatter gave it an ok atmosphere.
Decor - The new extension is a bonus - especially on a busy night like tonight. They have an upstiars as well as two rooms downstairs. There are many old framed 'posters' on the wall for old Belgian beers. It's all very trendy and also quite dark.
Service - This was top notch tonight. There were massive queues for the bar but the staff seemed to get through everyone really quickly. They were very knowledgable and let Chazbang taste all the ales before he bought them. My friend Ed was working tonight too and he's a top bloke. The staff gave a completely different vibe from the last time I was here. Really pleased.
Clientele - It was very, very busy. I think this is because it's the only pub in headingley that isn't full of absolute prats in fake afro wigs or dressed as '118 guys' on The Otley Run. I think Hollyoake-esque students avoid this place which is a real bonus. Having said that I kind of got the impression that a lot of the clientele were a little bit angry and possibly took the whole experience quite seriously (a few too many stern looking faces dotted around).
All in all though I was very impressed and me and my mates had a good night with great beer! I will definitely go back again.

Beer- Good selection of lots of different draught ales and nice foreign stuff.
I drunk wine and Liam had a Timmy T on this occasion. 8/10
Music- none..Busy and the people were chatty. 7/10
Decor- A very nicely done out unit in the Arndale centre in Headlingley. It is really well done with a massive amounts of character compared to anywhere else in Headingley. Good memorabilia. Sliding doors upstairs 8/10
Clientele- A mix of students and people who really like good ale. Good mix. As we said before busy...... 6/10
Staff- Attrocious. Very rude. Made us look like we didn't know anything at all and wouldn't give us any time to chose. Really were unpleasant. Liam did say 'twat' quite loudly to make him feel bad. 0/10
